How do I know what size air conditioner I need?
By a load calculation on your house, not by matching the old unit. Square footage, insulation, window area, orientation and duct capacity all feed into it. Oversized equipment short-cycles, cools unevenly and removes less humidity.
My AC stopped working. Is it the capacitor?
